SurePore PES Cartridge Filters

The workhorse of all aqueous solution membrane filtration

In beverage applications, PES membrane cartridges are used to remove spoilage organisms that can cause turbidity and off-flavours. In soft drinks, syrups, because of their high sugar content, are spoilt by Brettanomyces or Saccharomyces, and require 0.45 or 0.65 micron PES cartridge filters to ensure successful bottling with long shelf life. Likewise spring or mineral water bottling requires 0.2 micron PES cartridge filters to ensure product shelf life.

Purified or ultrapure water is an ingredient or utility used throughout all process industries. 0.2 micron membrane cartridges are used in point of use (POU), sterile, or final filtration applications for complete microorganism removal.
